HIGH COUNTRY HOME EDUCATORS
GRADUATION CEREMONY 2008
High Country Home Educators (HCHE) will hold its commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 17th, 2008 at New Life Church. Our vision and goal is to create a memorable celebration that recognizes the accomplishments of each family and their graduate, casts a long-term vision for other homeschool families and brings glory and honor to the Lord. If you are interested in participating in our ceremony, you need to meet the following requirements:
- The graduating student must be a current member of one of the HCHE education programs. The programs are High Country Christian Academy (HCCA), High Country Support Group (HCSG), and High Country Enrichment Classes (HCHE). If the student is not currently a member, we recommend joining the High Country Support Group.
 - Completion of the graduation application and registration. Applications must be submitted during one of the three informational meetings. Applications will not be accepted by mail. Please download the application from the link below and complete it before the informational meeting.
- At least one parent and the graduating student, together, must attend one of the following three informational meetings. All three meetings will be conducted at New Life Church.
- Monday, October 15th, 2007 7:00PM
- Monday, November 12th, 2007, 7:00PM
- Monday, January 14th, 2008, 7:00PM
- Payment in full at the time of registration. Registration cost is $125 per student and covers the cost of facilities, technical services, administration services, decorations, reception, custom diploma, complementary copy of the ceremony on DVD, and complementary CD of professionally shot ceremony photographs.
- A Cap and Gown must be purchased for the ceremony. Cost is approximately $25.
- At least one parent and the graduate must attend the mandatory Ceremony Coordination Meeting on Monday, March 31st, 2008 at New Life Church.
- Both parents (if both are participating in the ceremony) and the graduate must attend the mandatory Graduation Ceremony Rehearsal. Graduates and/or parents not attending the rehearsal will be dropped from the ceremony. Rehearsal date and time are to be determined.
