High Country COVID-19 Update as of March 17, 2020

Dear High Country Families,

We wanted to let you know that we are aware of the current recommendations from the CDC regarding group gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic. The New Life Church Elders and Senior Staff have decided that, for the safety of everyone, they are canceling all ministry events, activities, and groups of any size for the next eight weeks. We understand that you have questions about how this will affect High Country this semester.  The Enrichment, Support Group, and Academy branches are currently working together to determine the best course of action for each of our branches and will be in touch with you as quickly as possible with more detailed information.  We appreciate your patience while these important decisions are being made.  

In the meantime, we wanted to send a word of encouragement to all of our High Country families ...

We know these are uncertain times and it seems that every hour something changes.  But we also know none of this comes as a surprise to our God and that He still has a wonderful, good plan because He is a wonderful, good Father.  We lean on His promises during times like these and trust His perfect plan for us.  Isaiah 26:3 says, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You."  Likewise, Psalm 56:3 says, "When I am afraid, I put my trust in You."  It is our prayer that He will keep you and your family in His perfect peace as you lean into Him and that you will put your trust in Him as we all wait for this season to pass quickly.  God is still good.  His promises are still true.  The same God you put your trust in and has proven faithful all these years is still with you now.  Your life and ours are in His mighty hands.  He is trustworthy.
