High Country Member News
Welcome back to High Country! I hope you all enjoyed a joyous holiday season as we celebrated Jesus’s birth and how much He loves us. I am excited to get back to seeing you all onsite for classes and at our upcoming events. Below you will find lots of ways to connect with one another. This community has been a blessing to my family and I pray that it will be the same for yours. I encourage you all to jump right in and say hi to those around you. You never know how much these fellow homeschooling families will impact your life! It is a privilege to serve and do life with you all. ~Erica Danielson

Ways To Connect at High Country
Prayer Changes Things!
Join our Prayer Coordinator and other Intercessors and pray for HCHE, our teachers, and our families.
Connect
All High Country members are invited to attend our Mom's Groups. Mom’s Groups meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during Enrichment Classes (you pick which day works best for you). As a High Country member, you are welcome to attend as many Mom’s Group meetings as you desire.
Youth Prayer
Youth Prayer is a safe place for all teens to come and unite in prayer. Please join us for YOUTH PRAYER! Ages 13 and up, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 2:00. Plan on joining us for a time of rejoicing and thanksgiving as we make supplication to our Lord, God for the needs of High Country. See the registration team to register your student.
Immerse Teens
“This is a place where our homeschooled teens can come together, meet new friends, laugh, eat, have a wonderful time, and create some really fun memories! We focus on creating a very safe and comfortable environment and encourage participation and friendship development through organized activities. This amazing group of teens is unlike most and whether they are battling it out in laser tag, playing games, or rock climbing they are excited to be enjoying the moment together.” Shawnee Wehrmann, Immerse Leader.
Mentor Moms
These are moms who are finished, or nearing the end of their homeschooling years, and want to give back. When you request a mentor, we will pair with another mom who will be available to answer your questions about curriculum, provide advice to organize your school day, give you encouragement, prayer and other support you need as you get your bearings. You decide how much support you want and need.
Single Moms & Military
Our Family Care leader is here to support you as you navigate the world of homeschooling. The hope is that you build a strong, safe community of single moms and military who support and encourage one another. If you're interested, please send a message to familycare@hche.org.
Field Trips & Events
Field trips, skating parties, park days and other activities are a great way for you and your student to meet new friends and learn with other homeschooling families. Be sure to check the newsletter and online listing for upcoming events.
Family Care Ministry
Our mission is to be the body of Christ in a practical way, by bringing meals and friendship to High Country families during difficult times. Hand-in-Hand volunteers receive emails when there is a need such as a surgery, birth, or family emergency. Reach out to our family care coordinator if you would like to serve in this ministry, or have a need, at familycare@hche.org.

I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth— praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the LORD.
