Spring 2025 registration has officially closed. We wish all of our High Country families a wonderful and blessed semester.

Family Statements: Statements reflecting your final balance due will be in your family email on February 25. Final payments are due by Wednesday, March 5. Staff members from the finance department will be available for your convenience to receive payments on Tuesday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 5 from 10am until 1pm.

HCHE Library OPEN: Our library is open to families.  This library is on the honor system…pick out a book, sign it out, read it, return it and sign it back in, then repeat! There is even a basket if you have some wonderful books to donate.  Click HERE for book list.

Yearbook pictures: If you haven’t had your students’ pictures taken yet, there will be another opportunity next week, Feb. 25 and Feb. 26 from 9:30am - 2:00pm. Click HERE to sign up for a photography appointment.

Yearbooks are available to purchase. Click HERE to get yours ordered. The yearbook class is working hard to capture your memories, you don’t want to miss getting a copy. You may upload fun pictures from HCHE events and classes on a link on the members only page to add to the selection the class may choose photos from.

Lunch Program: Did you know High Country has a lunch program during Enrichment Classes? Open from 9:00am to 1:45pm, it’s a convenient way to feed your family or grab a snack while you are on campus. Click HERE for this week’s specials!

We are currently at $1,385.00. Help us to reach our goal of $3000.

Membership Information

Skate City Field Trip Feb. 27. We need a minimum of 50 skaters to host the event. Sign up by February 25 to ensure the event will happen. We can’t wait to see you there!

Community! We are excited to provide Mom’s Groups, Field Trips, and other exciting activities and events for our members. Registration links for events are posted on the Members Only Page on our website, and in our Members Facebook Group. Christian academy Information

Mid-year Enrollment: This is your final opportunity to enroll. You can still enroll for the 2024-2025 school year. The deadline is February 28. New families can request enrollment HERE. If you have any questions, please contact Julie at academydirector@hche.org.

ACADEMY TABLE: Do you have questions about the Academy or the services we provide? Please stop by and say “Hello!” If no one is at the table, please check with Guest Services. You also may email Julie Blank at academydirector@hche.org to set an appointment.

Standardized Testing: HCCA administers the Terra Nova 2 for 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th-grade students. This is a nationally standardized test that meets the Colorado home school statute requirements. Testing will take place at New Life Church on May 6-7, 2025. Please see our testing information page HERE.

Test Repository: Did you know that HCCA provides a standardized test repository? Under CO homeschool law, if you do not fall under an independent school, you are required to submit copies of standardized test scores to the school district. You can choose instead, to keep them with HCCA. More information about this service can be found by clicking HERE.

Last Chance! HCHE Graduation Ceremony: If your student is planning on graduating in May and you have not registered for the ceremony (HERE) please do so ASAP. The deadline to register is Feb. 21 to ensure participation. For more information or to register visit the graduation page.

HCCA Families taking Enrichment Classes: If your high school student is enrolled with HCCA and taking classes at HCEC for a high school credit, be sure to communicate with the teacher and Julie Blank for guidelines on how to ensure credit is earned.

Christian College Fair Colorado Springs Area Christian College Fair will be taking place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Evangel Christian Academy. Over 25 Christian colleges and universities will be at the fair. Click HERE for more information.
