Class Evaluations: An e-mail was sent to all families with a link to complete our class evaluation form. The form only takes a few minutes to complete. Please take a moment to complete your form by October 18th. Each teacher at High Country is committed to bringing quality to their classes and your feedback provides better insight to them and the administration.

Seeking Teachers: Do you have a hobby or special interest that you are passionate about? Would you like to teach others all about it while connecting and serving the ministry of High Country? We are now scheduling teacher interviews for our Spring 2025 semester. No teaching degree required, only a heart to serve! Please contact classdirector@hche.org to get more information.

Operation Christmas Child: Boxes for Operation Christmas Child will be available during Enrichment Classes starting October 22-23rd. Please return your box by November 12th!

Student Market Does your student like to bake? Then have a booth of yummies. Does your student want to be a vet? Then create a booth where stuffed animals can come by and have a “check-up.” Does your student sew or knit? Create a booth with some of your products! Sign up for the Student Market here. This is also a great time to purchase Christmas gifts for your loved ones!

Field Trip: October 25th. Rise Christian Performing Arts presents Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical. Inspired by the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899.

Skate City Field Trip Dec 2. We need a minimum of 50 skaters to host the event. Sign up early to ensure the event will happen.

GOOD TO KNOW Now is a great time to ensure that all of your contact and family information in your family portal is correct. Login to your family portal HERE

GRADUATING HCCA SENIOR PARENTS be sure to fill out an Intent to Graduate form and then contact Julie Blank if your student(s) will be graduating this school year. She needs to go over your student's high school records and other important information with you.

All participating students must submit a short bio and pictures using this form. The deadline for submissions is March 21, 2025.

PRAYER TEAM: If you are in need of prayer, you can submit personal prayer requests by sending an email to prayerdirector@hche.org.

LOST AND FOUND: If you have an item that has gone missing, check Guest Services. If items go unclaimed at the end of the semester, they will be donated.

FREE MATH TUTORING: Larry Bryant is offering free math tutoring. Please contact him at 719-217-6525 or email at larry_bryant@comcast.net to set up days/times.

MEALS MINISTRY: High Country has a meals ministry called Hand-in-Hand. There are babies born, health emergencies, or other times when meals are needed. Besides prepared meals, Hand-in-Hand also accepts monetary donations used to purchase meals for families. Please email Kim at communitydirector@hche.org to learn more.
